Jaleesa Vickers, writer and youth organizer with The Know, reflects on the new mural she and her peers developed to kick off their community health media initiative. Other partners on the mural include local business Louie Kee Market, the Muralistics, Youth for Christ and mural artist Josue Rojas. The Fresno Bee covered the early stages of the mural's development. At the unveiling event on Saturday, December 4, 2010, "Members of the mural team scattered themselves throughout the mural to speak in detail about the area they helped create, and what it represents, such as the dragon on one side reflecting the Chinese heritage of the storeowners, or the teardrop on the other side representing the pain of youth incarceration."
