Not approved for sale: Chicas investigate lead in candy

Conscious Youth Media Crew's Green Profile Series: Laura Megarejo works with PODER in San Francisco, where she leads a girl’s group 'Chicas' that investigates local vendors for candy products that contain lead and are not approved for sale. Laura became interested in environmental justice issues when her younger sister got sick with asthma after the family moved from Mexico to the United States."Our environment is not just trees and plants.
