Life among Mecca's landfills

For years now, the Eastern Coachella Valley city of Mecca has been the site of mysterious, foul smells emanating through the town.  The dump sites Western Environmental and Lawson Dump, neighboring trailer parks and schools, are believed to be the sources of the smell.
