Richmond youth Tania Pulido is activism

Tania Pulido's story channels the major health issues of Richmond.  As a teenager born and raised in Richmond, California, Tania Pulido might have been called an “at risk youth.” But by the end of high school, Tania had moved up from intern to staff member at Urban Tilth, a vegetable gardening nonprofit homegrown in Richmond.  Now she's working with local environmental justice groups that advocate for the city living in the shadow of the largest oil refinery on the West Coast.  Tania's profile, including short documentaries about her and the work she does on violence, is all on RYSE.
