Doctoral student explores Coachella history with youth

A former high school teacher, now a doctoral student of history at University of Southern California, returned to his hometown of Coachella for a summer education series about the region's social history.  Local youth attended lectures and discussions led by Christian Paiz, whose work focuses on farmworkers and socioeconomic inequality, subjects that Coachella students say inspires them to study for the purpose of making change.  Read about it on Coachella Unincorporated.
