New Exhibit Honors Legacy of Valley Pioneer

A new exhibit honoring Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, an Eastern Coachella Valley pioneer and philanthropist, is now open at the Coachella Valley History Museum.   The exhibit reopens the Jardin del Desierto, a garden dedicated to the early Hispanic settlers of the Coachella Valley.  The Reynaldo J. Carreon M. D. Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to over 400 Mexican-American college students. Details on Coachella Unincorporated.
