'Parent College' workshop kicks off at L.A. middle schools
“Parent College," a seven-month series of workshops put on by the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, trains parents how to get involved in their child’s academic future. Only 61.6 percent of students in L.A. Unified School District graduated in 2011.
