City College Music Recording Program in jeopardy

Budget cuts threaten Long Beach City College academic programs, and students in the music department fear the Recording Engineering and Record Producing programs will be facing the chopping block.  The LBCC Board of Trustees voted to cut 17 academic programs in their September 25th meeting. But students and instructors are protesting the cuts, in a campaign to show the indispensability of engineering, production, and arts classes.  Read the full story on Voicewaves.
