Proposed legislation would regulate gun sales in California

The new year has arrived, but everyone is still looking back at the December 14, 2012, shooting that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School, killing 26 people. In California, Assemblymembers Nancy Skinner and Rob Bonta introduced legislation today that would regulate ammunition sales, and keep track of people who purchase large numbers of bullets. Skinner and Oakland Mayor Jean Quan held a press conference introducing the proposed bill, AB 48.
