School uniform policy affects class time

Suzan Al-Shammari ran into trouble when she wore a sheer white blouse over a white tank top, violating a school uniform policy that requires only solid white shirts.  She had to replace the shirt and got an hour of detention, missing the first half of her Spanish class.  Suzan says that in these ways, a school policy can be at odds with its own intention.
