Staying off probation, and teaching others how

When Reinaldi Gilder was released from prison, he vowed to make decisions that would steer him away from re-arrest.  He made a series of decisions that would keep him out of the shadow of law enforcement into a positive light -- going to school, working, volunteering, and otherwise being an active member of the community.   He spends his time convincing youth that life after probation could prove rewarding. “You’ve got a short window to do things in a certain way, and this will allow you to move on with the rest of your life,” he told a group of young men.  Read a profile of Gilder on Richmond Pulse.probation
