Catholic school educator: Ramona Gardens housing complex is 'heart of our parish'

In an interview with the Beat, the director of Santa Teresita School— the private Catholic school in the Ramona Gardens neighborhood of Boyle Heights— answers questions about teaching in a housing complex, her visions for education, and engaging Catholic parents.  "[T]he day begins and ends with parent volunteers helping with that.
