Living wage advocates speak out against Bluff Project

In 2012, Long Beach organizers worked to pass Measure N, a living wage ordinance mandating that larger Long Beach hotels pay employees a minimum wage of $13 an hour.  Now the California Coastal Commission and local activists are fighting developers seeking to build luxury hotels which are exempt from the ordinance.  The Commission wants developers to engage the community about wages and environmental concerns.  Read more on Voicewaves.lcp
