Lunch for Long Beach students could be getting better

It used to be that students in Long Beach complained loudly about school lunches, comparing them to "prison food" and saying they resorted to fast food and sweets to avoid them. But things seem to have changed. Programs that sought to raise nutrition standards in school are having an effect, even on the large food distribution centers that feed Long Beach Students.
