Do high school kids need more breaks?

High school senior Eli Arbreton finds it hard to concentrate -- and sometimes even stay awake -- in all of his classes. He thinks students would be able to learn more if they were allowed more frequent breaks and opportunities to eat and drink throughout the day.  He and his peers reminiscence about their adolescent recesses, and a professor and pediatrician weighs in saying research showing students do better with regular breaks in between classes. "You can't ask somebody to perform at their best if they don't have the fuel to make it happen." It's all discussed in a podcast from Youth Radio.
