How do teens deal with revenge?

When the inevitable conflicts of adolescence arise - whether with siblings, friends, and peers - the temptation to get retribution can be consuming.  But what do we get out of hurting others who hurt them? An investigation into the issue reveals something about the way youth express their anger, and whether vindictive behavior works to relieve the hurt they feel.
