Merced's fight for #HealthForAll

Merced organizers rallied in support for the Health For All Act, a California Senate bill which would provide health insurance to all Californians, including undocumented residents. Advocates traveled to Sacramento to urge local representatives to support the bill. They teamed up with people from Modesto, in a strategic partnership to present a more unified front to legislators. "A large percentage of Mercedians are still without access to health insurance even with the Medi-Cal expansion and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
