Long Beach residents speak up against police tactics

A recent town hall for police and community members attracted large numbers, but for people who had questions about police violence, the conversation was fruitless. One man whose brother was shot and killed by police in April was disturbed by the lack of response to demands for an independent investigation. "Today there was a lot of good questions but there was really no accountability, no response, no answer. Everything was based on, 'We're working on it.'"
