What changes would you like to see at Arvin High?

Kern County has unveiled its Local Control and Accountability Plan, outlining the school district’s spending priorities for the coming school year. It's hard to measure how much input from the general public shaped the plan, but community members will continue to voice their biggest concerns. "I think we need more after school activities to help college-bound 12th grade students with personal statements, applying for financial aid, and resumes. We also need more programs for those who will not attend college that help them search for jobs so they can get a head start on life after high school." Students and staff from Arvin High School spoke about where they think the money should go, on South Kern Sol.
