RYSE Center closes the season with a summer jam

An event at RYSE Outside — the backyard area of the youth center — brought opportunities for local youth expression, and gave families and new prospective teens a chance to see all that RYSE has to offer. The day went beyond youth performances and introduced attendees to representatives from art schools and other programs. "Performer Donte Clark, who has worked at RYSE for five years, said his time at the center has significantly impacted his life, allowing him to take his art ‘more seriously and to expose how we’re hurting, and how to heal.'" Read about it on Richmond Pulse.
