Fast food options outnumber grocery stores 4 to 1 in Sacramento

A mapping tool from the United States Department of Agriculture puts into perspective an alarming statistic for area residents: In Sacramento County there are currently fewer than 300 full service grocery stores while there are more than 1,000 fast food restaurants.
