Something from nothing: redefining public space

A group of volunteers from Space4Art teamed up to plan and construct a public park for people of all ages in San Diego. The community had been asking for a park for a long time in Imperial Ave, where there are no parks nearby. "It's a great idea because not many parks offer a garden for adults, and a treehouse for little kids." Media Arts Center's Teen Producers Project produced this video.
