Why the ABC30's Youth Council matters

ABC30, a primary news source for the greater Fresno area, recently selected a group of youth advocates to be a part of the station’s first ever Youth Advisory Council. The purpose of the council is to help the news station build a stronger relationship with the community, especially youth, by integrating real stories from their lives and communities. "We’re often told our voices don’t matter that we start to believe it doesn’t. But some folks recognize the importance of youth voice and the potential it has to impact our community." Read more on The Know.
