'Day of Silence' calls attention to bullying

As debates around gender identity and sexual orientation spark discussions among students across the country, some schools — like Hoover High School in City Heights — have dedicated a Day of Silence to supporting those who have been bullied or stigmatized into silence. "We are silent in recognition of their forced silence.
