Herbalife customers keep buying in Boyle Heights, unaware of controversy
Described by some as a pyramid scheme and by others as a company promoting nutritional supplements, Herbalife still draws a healthy business in Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles despite a recent blow to the company. The Federal Trade Commission ordered the company pay $200 million to compensate consumers who believe claims they could get rich by selling its products.
