Los Angeles residents await solutions to Exide health disaster
Boyle Heights and other Los Angeles communities won big when the Exide battery recycling plant shut down in 2014. But the crisis is not over. The plant spread a toxic lead dust over nearby communities that have officials telling residents to keep children from playing in the dirt.
