Youth media conference spurs visions of a bright future

When youth media from across California met in Sacramento, it was Long Beach reporter Nia Thompson's first flight without her parents, first night in a hotel room and first time speaking in front of 100 people.  The journalism event was also one of the first times since the presidential election that Thompson felt surrounded by driven and like-minded people.
