Bus Tracker will tell the real story of Fresno's bus system

This week The Know Youth Media launched its BusTracker project, which aims to record rider feedback on Fresno's bus system, called FAX, and communicate that feedback to the city and FAX management. Writer Jaleesa Vickers describes how her lifelong experience as a bus rider doesn't synch with a recent Brookings Institution report that put FAX in the top five transit systems in the country: "I believe BusTracker can help bridge the communication gap between FAX and its riders."The Know also produced this PSA to encourage FAX riders to use BusTracker.[vimeo=http://vimeo.com/23832602 &w=320&h=240]To share your own experience riding FAX, post a report on BusTracker, send an email to fresnobustracker@gmail.com or send a TXT message to 559-481-1BUS (1281).The Bus Tracker launch received coverage in local mainstream and ethnic media, including  The Fresno Bee, Vida en el Valle and ABC30.com.
