Cigarette butts a problem at Arvin park

5,173.  That's the number of cigarette butts local teens picked up in Arvin, California, when Kern County volunteers headed to the public parks.  The butt counts can help Kern County Health's "No Butt Left Behind" project, which hopes to prohibit smoking at parks, saying smoking creates a toxic environment in an area for play, and the butts are a risk to small children and animals.
