Shelter brings hope to homeless in Long Beach

Founded in 1972, the Long Beach Rescue Mission started as one of California’s few shelters for women and children. It now consists of two facilities – one for women and children, and a men’s facility. Through case management and the New Life Program, the facility hopes to help people living on the street begin to turn their lives around.  The detailed story is on Voicewaves.
