Undocuqueers give new voice to immigration activism

"Undocuqueer" activists -- gay, bisexual, and transgender undocumented immigrants -- opened up to an audience at CSU Long Beach to provoke dialogue to shape immigration policy in the coming year.  Young voices demanding just policies for immigrants have grown, and a number of them have come out of the shadows --not once, but twice.  Being public about both undocumented and queer identities lays them open to mixed reactions, some empathetic and some hostile.
