'Discipline workshop' brings students and authorities together to talk restorative justice

Members of Fresno's public school board heard from students, parents, teachers and their allies during a school discipline workshop this month. The message was resounding: restorative justice is the answer to keeping students in school, and learning.  "Restorative justice is a system that allows students to have a voice," said one student activist.  Youth reporters from The Know spoke with supporters and filmed the rally afterward, which amassed 200 people.  Watch the video and hear the some of their efforts, in the latest installment in the restorative justice series on The Know.[vimeo=http://vimeo.com/63799850]
