New laws aim to help people find jobs after being arrested

Young people who've gotten into trouble with the law face new setbacks when they apply for jobs and are asked whether they have ever committed a crime.  Much of the time, this weeding out process by employers leaves young people with minor charges or convictions at the end of the line when it comes to jobs. "Ban the Box" laws forbid employers from asking about an applicant's criminal record in the initial interview.  Hear about these efforts, and the nitty gritty of what job applicant's are and aren't required to report, on Youth Radio.
