Community members react to L.A.'s plastic bag ban

Los Angeles' nearly 4 million residents use approximately 2 billion single-use plastic bags a year.  The L.A. City Council recently placed a ban on plastic grocery bags, leaving residents with the option of bringing their own bags, or paying 10 cents for each paper bag from the store.  Depending on their lifestyles and limitations, Boyle Heights residents vary in their reactions to the ban.  Read the story on Boyle Heights Beat.plastics
