The 43 'disappeared': Reactions from a Mexican 'Normalista'
The 43 students that have been missing since September - largely believed to have been handed over by police to a criminal gang - attended what is known in Mexico as a Normal School, schools usually attended by poor, rural and indigenous students. One California woman recalls her childhood at a Normal School, and explains why she has joined her church in protesting the violence against these students.
