Voice of a survivor: a rally to raise awareness about human trafficking for sex

The FBI has identified San Diego as one of the top 'high-intensity' areas for human trafficking. A rally led by survivors featured personal stories and politicized the outrage felt when a person recounts her experience. How can we identify victims? How can we support legislation that might reduce the number of trafficking victims? "There are so many youth affected by it, that we need to start showing youth leadership. We need to start showing that you, as well as our elders, can come together in intergenerational activism and actually combat this issue." The video is from Media Arts Center San Diego.[youtube=http://youtu.be/_RbTFAEvrfI]
