Young leaders needed for Sacramento Shapers

Where can young people who want to make a difference in Sacramento communities start? The Global Shapers Community of Sacramento, launched during the World Economic Forum in 2011, is seeking young entrepreneurs who want to make a lasting impact on their community. Global Shapers has a "hub" in over 150 countries, and seeks to engage youth in those places to represent their communities. “Shapers are united by a common desire to build a more peaceful and inclusive society. The Sacramento Hub aims to undertake local community projects and help connect the Capitol Community to larger conversations and priorities occurring beyond our city’s borders.” Read about an organization fueled by believing in young people and their aspirations, on Access Sacramento.
