After SCOTUS victory, the fight is far from over

Merced College student Jacqueline Hernandez explains why, even after the Supreme Court ruled that marriage is a constitutional right for same sex couples, there is still much work to do. Being gay in a homophobic culture is only one factor in her experience of discrimination – she knows that, for other minorities, marriage is the least of their problems. "I have to question, as a queer Chicana, is being able to marry my partner my biggest problem?
