Why I'll practice safe texting

Teens use texting as their primary mode of getting messages to friends quickly.  But the convenience comes at a steep cost.  A growing number of fatal car accidents are attributed to texting, and is now the leading cause of death among teenage drivers, surpassing drinking and driving.  “Doing that (texting-and-driving) has severe repercussions to not only yourself, but to others...it’s devastating.”  A San Pablo teenager wrote the column for Richmond Pulse.Don't be stupid
